We bought the smaller Duo with an extra liner and it works great. The other night I made mushroom risotto first in one liner then steamed salmon in the other liner. Both liners went into the dishwasher for easy cleanup.
Forgot account? I’m not gonna lie, I am still intimidated by the Instant Pot electric pressure cooker. Note: Instant Pot is the brand name but there are other brands of electric pressure cookers. I’m not worried about the pressure cooker itself. I know they are safer these days. I am mainly intimidated by all the buttons on it. It throws my brain into momentary confusion. You know what I mean? It’s kinda like having too many choices for chips or canned soup. You get overwhelmed by all the choices that you almost just wanna walk away. 😉

Recipe of the Day Nicole, I used my 8 qt Instant Pot for the first time today. Looks like this is the perfect recipe to start off, learn the functions, etc. I did as you said, but when I opened the pot, the noodles were not soft. Not sure what I did wrong? So I set it for another 8 min, the pssta was perfect, but the very bottom was charred. Can you tell me what I could have done to not have the bottom burn? Thank you.

I made this last night with 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs (removed white fat pieces), cooked on poultry setting for 20 minutes : tasted great, but they were maybe a tad overcooked. The pieces were falling apart (which I kind of like) but tasted a little dry, needed lots of sauce per bite. I would try 15-17 minutes, maybe, next time? I’ll report back if I get around to testing. Still and all, I did like this recipe.

The sauce was awesome, it was my first instant pot meal and I made the carrots recommended from Kalyn’s website. Next time I won’t bother with chicken with bone and skin, just use skinless, the skin was a little rubbery. Awesome flavor! Will make it again.

There is a recipe index but no comprehensive index of ingredients — good luck if you’re looking for “broccoli”. Nutrient counts are also missing. There are some nice fotos but not one for each recipe.
