March 20, 2017 at 6:59 am Would you ever do your chicken from start to broth in the instant pot instead of buying a premade rotisserie chicken? I’m considering buying an instant pot and was thinking about that!? I don’t know if homemade is cheaper than a store bought chicken anyways? I love creating fun, easy, and delicious recipes for everyone in the family to enjoy and make. But I agree with a few other users. The cook time should say 8 minutes, but your Total Time should be realistic and not 8 minutes. It should be the pressure time, which could be another 10 minutes, then another 10 at the end for natural release. So why not say 25 or 30 minutes for Total Time.
Chicken would make it a different thing altogether but I’m guessing still pretty tasty! 🙂 LMK how it works out! I used “pressure cook” on high! 🙂 Better with Bacon
Hi, John! I actually haven’t tried my recipe starting out with frozen meat. So, without further recipe testing, it is difficult for me to give an accurate response. My concern is that starting with frozen meat would cause you to end up with too much liquid, and I’m do think you would need to extend the cooking time as well.

    Not being a child anymore, however, I spiked mine liberally with honey bourbon and sprinkled on a little coarse sea salt. Poured over strawberries or as a dip for apples, it makes a satisfying and not too unhealthy indulgence. Next time I would probably cook mine for 45 or even 50 minutes, to see if I could darken it.
