I’m sorry the noodles turned out mushy for you. I haven’t had that happen with this recipe. I’d say you could reduce the cooking time by one minute next time and see if that helps. Your noodles should come out a little more al dente that way. 🙂

The leftovers are even better for lunches so I would make this much for me haha. But seeing as I am so new to instant pot cooking I’m not 100% sure about if the time would decrease. I would think the sauteing time would be faster but the pressure cooking would be about the same. Hope that helps!!
DELICIOUS! I loved how saucy it was and it thickened up perfectly after cooling for like 10 minutes. Image by: CZ Design & Amazon.com Some recipes will call for a specific time for natural release, before a manual pressure release. For this, you’ll want to turn off the pot, and wait for the time called for in the recipe has passed. Then, turn the valve to release the rest of the pressure. This allows the food to continue to cook for a little longer than a straight manual release, but without keeping the pot on full pressure for that whole time. It makes for a slightly gentler and slower cooking environment.

ABOUT INSTANT POT I made this recipe almost exact last night. I used a little more pasta and added a tiny bit of ranch seasoning and crushed pepper. It was absolutely delicious! Sauce thickened nicely after cooling a bit, I think the ranch seasoning helped. My teenage Son loved it. This one is definitely a keeper!!
